Always operate in "black box" - even worst than an enterprise company - we also want to know who is the crony contractor? GLC? Or Umno link company?

Another sad day for all Malaysians, sorry for the taxpayers from other states because your tax money also being used for the project - which you maybe never ever has the chance to use it!

In Malaysia, anything above the million rinngit mark no need tender. Reminds me of crooked people build crooked bridge.

Problem with the ministers in this country - they are politicians first and ministers last. They need to spend more of their time politicking to stay in power and hence have less time for their jobs, which are the benefits accrued from their political standings.

So it matters not if their job efficiency sucks. As long as you have a strong political position, you have a good ministerial position. This is especially true for the non-Umno ministers.

These ministers also know that the real power in their ministry rest with their top civil servants who are invariably of a different race. So there is really little they can do to exercise their true authority. Ultimately smart thing to do is to "see no evil, hear no evil, do no evil".

Testimony to this state of affairs is the similarly dismal performance of the other ministries that have non-Umno ministers.

The prime minister without realising it, actually acknowledged this state of affairs when he warned the "Little Napoleons" civil servants but not the ministers, who should have been the first to be held responsible for any shortcomings.

Ripping off the people is a way of life the government in our country. It is also accepted as an unofficial government policy. In every project there is rip off. If we make further investigations we will find Umno hands all over the place, in every project.

The government is a cow to be milked by every Umno clown from the prime minister down to a branch leader. This is the unwritten policy of the NEP which will go on to 2020 and then to eternity. Keep on ripping off till there is nothing left in the kitty.

Malaysia and its ordinary people will suffer with this nonsense!

Yes, a lot of non-malays in Malaysia are leaving this country. But what the hell, they (babiputras) don't care. They are happy that we leave.

I do agree with you of those you mentioned, our country is stepping backward, we are loosing in all aspects and yet overdue and retard ministers are still available on shelf. The ministers think that they are the only ones capable and qualified to be there and not replaceable, otherwise the country could collapse.

Looking at Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq likes looking at this country future. The well-connected bumis are getting richer. This government is spoon feeding the bumis at this nation expense. I am sick of this country too.

My advise is let them rot in their own stew.

The Barisan government has achieved 0% in reversing the trend of racism.

While South Africa has disbanded racism through the government's initiative after the global news onslaught, our Malaysia government leaders are propagating RACISM and FACISM in every way.

In term of racism, we are the most uncivilised country in the world. Look into our neighbouring countries of Asia, they are advancing economically on a straight forward objectives, for their citizens.

Whereas, we are moving in deviationist path, widely off the international economic theory, for the sole objective of propelling the well being of a supreme race.

Mahathir era is over, here we have Badawi. Is he changing the trend? Not a single sign of it! How about the future under Nazib?

Sad, sad. They have more camouflage in readiness.

Hasn't anyone realised that they (babiputras) prefer that Chinese just emigrate, so they can have the country for themselves? At least that is what they think.

I know, you will say that after the departure of the one million Chinese from Malaysia, the brain drain, there is less wealth in Malaysia, but all the same they would rather we are not there. They see us as sharing their cake, not the actual fact of us creating a bigger cake for all.

Still, from talking to other Chinese in Malaysia, they still prefer NOT to migrate, they'd rather being discriminated against, being second or third class citizens, being bullied, and continue to vote them (babiputras) into power.

Granted, some do not qualify to emigrate, especially to a western country. But ALL the ones I talked to they DO qualify, yet they prefer the comfort zone. And there are countries treating us Chinese more fairly and the migration policies are more lenient.

Can anyone explain such mentality? If that is not stupidity, you tell me what it is.

No wonder already one million Chinese left Malaysia - they are not only fed up with babiputras but also the attitude of their own race.

The Chinese in Malaysia, are caught between a rock and a hard place. Vote for Barisan Nasional and put up with racism, inefficiency and corruption. You will see your rights as a citizen being slowly whittled away.

Vote for the opposition and no development or maintenance funds for your area. Anyway, with all the gerrymandering, the Chinese votes can't make a significant dent on Umno stranglehold on power.

So the Chinese bury their heads in the sand. They get busy earning money through legal as well as illegal means. Malaysian Chinese bookies and fake credit card syndicates are world-renowned.

Some of our most capable brains end up in Hong Kong, Singapore and other countries. The more resourceful ones find Umno partners and go into big business. The rest of us mere mortals work our butts off to save money.

While it is debatable whether the Chinese are still in control of the economy or not, there is no doubt that a small number of well-connected Chinese businessmen are among the wealthiest people in Malaysia.

However, the vast majority of the Chinese in Malaysia are in the lower middle class, the middle class and upper middle class. They are bank-tellers, doctors, engineers, farmers, hawkers, peddlers, small traders, technicians, teachers, etc. There are about seven million Chinese in Malaysia. Common sense will tell you that not all of them are wealthy.

The Chinese are fed up with the government but they really feel helpless because they have been cowed into submission.

Fortunately, our traditional work ethics come to our rescue. We work hard to save money and send our children overseas and hope that they will have a better life there and be treated as first-class citizens.

Here is the statistic from my own experience……….

Of the same batch of students graduated during the same semester in my college in USA, only 3 of the 12 students returned to Malaysia so far. None of them intend to return in the near future.

Right after graduation, my friend went to Melbourne to do her masters, with one objective on her mind, she wants to get a PR there.

Of the 100000 or more Malaysians who have emigrated to Australia, most are professionals. Their off-springs more often than not, are some of the best performers in schools here (Australia).

Someone mentioned that two-thirds of the community of practicing doctors in Singapore is Malaysian Chinese.

Don't forget Singapore's Netwater……….That is founded by Olivia Lum, and presently also a nominated member of parliament in Singapore who made it only because she left Malaysia for Singapore!

Our Malaysia country is so lucky to be blessed with abundant of very best quality resources including human resources. I leave it to you yourself to go and find out who is who.

You name it and we have it. We just have a lot of very talented people from all fields, be it finance, IT, R&D, and etc. These people are highly sought by not just first world countries but the developing ones as well. They willing to offer everything they could even citizenships and needless to say about monetary rewards.

I am pretty sure they (from Mahathir to Pak Lah) know about these very well and they even know more than what we do. But question is, why nothing could be done to curb the losses?

NEP is the key, from the past until today, no Umno leader dare to bet on their entire political career by abolishing the NEP and revoking malay special rights.

Our Malaysia competitive edges like better educated workforces, better financial and legal systems, better infrastructure etc, are no longer better. It is either being offered or better by other Asian countries which are hungrier than us.

The developed countries like Australia know this and continue to pursue brain-gain policies which partly resulted in their 5% economic growth. Malaysia has not even reached there in its economic development and we are struggling with the current growth rate.

For them to survive, they have to be global citizens. I am making sure they master global languages like English and Chinese. The world will compete for the brightest to maintain their edge.

If one's parents continued here Malaysia, it would have been such a waste of talent. Look around us, everyday you see such wastage in our human resources……….

It is not a loss to Malaysia, as Malaysia simply does not have a culture and materials to nurture genius brains, due to its "non-competition policies" so to take care of fools……….

Some person is lucky to have parents with a foresight who would be able to get him out from the black box on time. The right type of soil will produce right type of fruits. In Australia, he becomes a sweet orange, if he were to be in Malaysia, he would turn into a sour lime.

I agree that has nothing to do with the Bolehland.

If he were to be in Malaysia at this present age, our Malaysia leaders would simply tell him: "Oh! Sorry, actually English is very important, let us start all over again to teach English in mathematics and science subjects beginning from primary school."

The current Malaysia education system still incapable of maximizing the full potential of the younger generation (even the older ones). A revamp is needed!

Go to the local premier university, see for yourself how the professors recruit research assistant, to help them prepare journal and PowerPoint. Then you will realise how the professors get the title. Afterward, you expect this kind of environment can nurture talent?

Yes……….another Malaysia Boleh!

Because Bolehland university got a quota to meet……….Because Bolehland lost all the talents with no regret……….Because Bolehland got double standards for everything……….

What a sad, sad loss to Malaysia and its economy.?!

Today is a globalisation aged, the government policies still like this cut Chinese to subsidiary malays, better we suggest foreign investors have a right choice to any other country to invest.

Why for we so stupid (look down by the foreigners). So many years we pay the tax but how many cents the malay government help our people - the Chinese and Indians!

The foreign investors transfer their business out off Malaysia to Thailand is right.

The so-called affirmative action in Malaysia as set out by the government is a form of racism in disguise. I remember my first taste of so-called affirmative action when buying houses. There is this popular housing estate in the Klang valley.

After the malays signed the sales and purchase agreement from the developer, I saw a few of them selling the houses to non-malays. You see, malays get 7% discount so if he sells the house off at the normal price to non-malays, the malays would earn 7%. It is easy money for them, don't you think!

For shares there, when company go public listed, mostly a big chair will be reserved to "selected bumi investors" but who are they? And the most ironically, they sell it immediately after the company go public listed and they made quick money just like that.........who? Those cronies…….

For those who played fire will get burnt one day. Don't worry - I witness this……….

EVERYTHING IN MALAYSIA IS ABOUT RACISM. IT IS APPROVED SANCTIONED GOVERNMENT SOFT APARTHIED SYSTEM and the people have been systematically brainwashed to accept it.

At least someone spoke up my thoughts. I thought I am the only person with the sentiment……….MCA and Gerakan spoke about the racial integrity and contentment that we felt which is totally untrue.

I believe, there is no protest over this treatment of us as second class citizens as everyone lives in the shadow of 13 May 1969 disaster, clouded over by the brutal murder in Indonesia of ethnic Chinese, not too far off.

As far as I can see, all policies and laws are meant to benefit only the malays, and not the bumis (other natives like in Sabah and Sarawak) as whole.

Call like asking Chinese to join the army or the government to be more patriotic, I see no reason as there is a limit to the career progression, and no reason for a 'second class citizen' to commit more than what we believe we should.

We are not talking racist here. We are talking how the government is doing not fair and unequal things to our Malaysians, that is we talking about even anything we do be tax by government.

The thing is where in the world has this kind of policy to restrict and no equal to their citizens to do any business even though we pay a tax!

Fool malay, if you are our prime minister, sure long ago our Malaysia is worst than Indonesia because of people like you are racist than us, even you not really know where are the resources really come from who, the more and the most.

If by this tax we are feeding you fool malay, I better feeding a dog rather than you that don't understand, at the end like in Indonesia, that they are thinking they can do better but they don't even know how the history and the process come from in first. Like 'robbery' kind of way, I don't think we like to be kindly of it!

Following some person comments, although having many tall skyscrapers and other mega projects, while driving in the city at traffic light, I see malays open their car door to spit or to throw rubbish out of their car window, in the middle of the traffic jam.

In fast food centre, I see their little dirty bustards stomping on the table like it is their house while their ignorant malay parents chat on. It is a sore eyes and ironic these so-called 'civlised native cum owner' of the malay land……….it is a sad sad world.

Oh by the way……….I remind that our government has implemented a plan to recall our talents who work in overseas to come home……….they give them tax exemption……….APs to bring their cars back blah blah blah. Can anyone tell me how many of them are still working here?

Answer: 1! (Not sure he also ran back to the country he served.)

And bear in mind there are our malays in there, ok? So, it is not the matter of racist or what - simply because of the shitty policies.

Well, finally someone know my two reasons why Malaysia fail.

The first reason, I have pointed former is 'business should be run by businessman and government being run by politician', Malaysia fail because 'politicians are running the business'.

The second reason Malaysia will fail is 'the government should not have a religion'. People have religion, not the government or the country.

I am looking for the opportunity to go out of this country.

In Malaysia, apes abound not only in our jungles, but in our universities, schools, and other institutions. This mentality is so well rewarded that even academics like professors are joining the crowd.

"Cemerlang, gemilang dan terbilang" will remain a slogan if we do not encourage critical thinking but instead we reward people who only know how to "suck up" to their bosses.

So we all have a choice: we can be either a people who subscribe to "bodek", that is just be apes, or those who are open and critical, can emulate what is the best, and relevant for their own advancement and the nation. In short, be a leatherback turtle or just a "katak bawah tempurung"!

This episode clearly indicates that decision making in this country at the highest level are not made based on principles but on personalities.

If the decision-making process had been based on sound principles, it would outlive any change of administration. And it is disgusting that we have a spineless cabinet that blindly rubber stamps any decision made by the top man whoever that may be.

50 years is enough for crook government! Are we still need crook politicians?

Until and unless we have cabinet members capable of exhibiting the level of independence of thought, we will have to treat all so-called "cabinet decisions or approvals" with a large dose of skepticism and scorn.

And it is wistful thinking to believe we can achieve "first world mentality" when our "leaders" behave no better than "third world lackeys".

The true examples of rotten apples are the cabinet members and Barisan ministers. The simply do not have principles and uneducated, when Mahathir planned to built half crooked bridge, they unanimously agreed because he was the prime minister there. And now when Pak Lah said that we cannot build the bridge, they agreed too because he is the current prime minister. What kind of idiots we have in the cabinet!

The previous administration grossly lacks foresight, and they are narrow and shallow in their minds. A dreamer and a planner will eventually achieve his/her dream and plan. Which one would you bet on to achieve results? Is the previous administration a dreamer or planner?

The damage has been done. Time to do damage control. We must move on. Let us pray that all have learned a valuable lesson from this issue. Those truly responsible if they have any conscience will live with this in their mind forever, and they know that will have to face their creator someday.

What happened?!
SUddenly so many comments in one day? ?????
But, then, i really agree with what you guys are saying eventhough ist' kinda....agreesive...~lol~

In Sejarah, my teacher said that, we must accept this injustice cus the Malays let us to live here as one of their citizens if it wasn't of their tolerance we wouldn't be here, during the time before we MERDEKA, they keep objects of we existence on this country untill they archieve an agreement where, Malays(though not stated) are the more superior ones...
Che....Brainwash, nowadays even the texs books about our country history can't be trusted, they intended to brainwash the younger generation so that they might thought that it was the Malays who are the ones who made Malaysai like this today!
BULL SH*T!
But, what can we to since such issue is a sensitive issue in our country, talking against it will cost we severely....
And they say, Malaysia is a democratic world....
